The seaside village of Coaston was an idyllic, peaceful fishing town until the population disappeared overnight. Unbeknownst to our adventurers, a group of chuul have slain and/or abducted the population over night at the order of an aboleth master. Though several groups of adventurers have come seeking the lost villagers, none have returned as the chuul have torn them apart and taken their valuables to an ancient ruin concealed deep beneath the coastal waves.
