The Maw: A Gateway to the Multiverse

This Astral Tavern is going to be the main quest hub for a new campaign Im writing. Inspired by the Yawning Portal of Waterdeep, The Maw of Szarrus (aka The Maw) is a Tavern that floats in the Astral Sea, a remnant of a long shattered crystal sphere. The Tavern was once a temple to a god called “The Warden of Ways” a minor god of interdimensional travel and adventure. During a great cataclysm The Warden commanded his avatar, a great beast that fed on the magical energy of portals, to devour his temple and transport it to the Astral Sea where it has since drifted for time immemorial.
Now the Warden maintains his divinity by providing valuable services to powerful dwellers of the Astral plane such as transport, intelligence, or arranging contacts etc.
This is setup to be an easy adventure of the week type campaign that is designed to more or less be a series of short one or two session adventures. Quests will range from obtaining rare artifacts, hunting dangerous targets, mapping out unknown regions, or even performing tasks on behalf of devine beings.
I used a few assets made by other creators to help flesh it out.
